One of the best parts about Sitabani Zone is that you can see rich flora and fauna, which is said to be one of the greenest of all. You can come here for nature walks and visit popular attractions. Since the forest area doesn't come under the Corbett Tiger Reserve, the rules and regulations of CTR are not followed here. It is also one of the famous because it is said that Goddess Sita spent some days of her exile in the Sitabani Jungle. Apart from this, the zone offers a variety of flora and fauna and more than 600 species of trees, shrubs, bamboo, herbs grasses, orchids, Sal, Sheesham, Peepal, Mangoes and whatnot! If you visit here, you will experience animals like Bengal tigers, elephants, Sambhar, Barking deer, porcupines and King Cobra.
